In This Day and Age, We Must Be a Church That Is On A Mission

It’s always wonderful to hear that people found warmth and comfort at your church, even on a cold January morning! The inspiring songs and praise, as well as the sermon, we pray left a positive impact on you and others who were present.

Acts 11:19-30 and 13:1-5 are both powerful passages that remind us of the importance of spreading the gospel and extending love and support to those in need. In these verses, we see how the early church was committed to reaching out to others and sharing the message of Jesus Christ. This is a great reminder for us today to continue to embrace our mission as a church, and to be intentional about reaching out to those around us.

We pray that this experience at your church will continue to inspire and encourage you in your faith journey, and that you will continue to seek to grow in all the areas of your life. May God bless you as you continue to follow Him.

In order for us to be a church that is reaching and impacting our communities, we must be intentional  being on mission. This means that we must not only be focused on our own growth, but also on meeting the needs of others and sharing the love and message of Jesus with those around us.

There are many ways we can do this, such as serving our local community through outreach programs, hosting events that welcome and connect people in our area, supporting missionaries and other ministry organizations, and sharing the gospel in word and deed. I encourage us all to prayerfully consider how we can be on mission in our own contexts, and seek God’s guidance and empowerment in fulfilling this important calling.
