Over 50 Players, Cheerleaders and Staff Attend Thursday Night Football Dinner at the Panama First Baptist Church
On Thursday night, over 50 players and staff attended a football dinner in Panama, Oklahoma. The football dinner was held in anticipation for the upcoming homecoming game.
Pastor Dale Lowrimore was the featured speaker at the dinner. His message was one of encouragement and wisdom, centered around a Bible verse from Ephesians 6:11.
Biblical Message Delivered
Pastor Lowrimore’s message was from Ephesians 6:11, which reads: “Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” He emphasized the importance of having faith in God and never laying your armor down.
“No matter what circumstances we face in life, we must never lay down our armor,” Lowrimore said. “God is the one who will give us the strength to overcome any obstacle. We must remember to always put on the armor of God.”
The message resonated with the players and staff. Many of them spoke about how the message had inspired them to stay strong and never give up.
“It was a really powerful message that I think all of us could relate to,” said one player. “I’m definitely going into the game with a new sense of courage and determination.”
