Fellowship, Prayer, and Grilled Burgers

Pastor Dale Lorimore recently held an event at his church to bring together the community in fellowship and prayer. The evening was filled with several activities, but the highlight of the night was the hamburgers that Pastor Lorimore grilled up for everyone. After enjoying a meal together, the pastor lead the group in prayer. Youth Director Kolter Borden then took the opportunity to give a short message on laying a good foundation and building on it. He used 1 Corinthians 3: 10-11 as his example.

  • According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Borden’s message was a reminder of the importance of looking to Jesus Christ as the foundation for all things. He encouraged the group to build upon that foundation and not let anything else sway them from it. Overall, the evening was a great success. The group was able to come together in fellowship and prayer, and Pastor Lorimore’s grilled hamburgers were a hit. The message from Kolter Borden was a great reminder of the importance of keeping Jesus Christ at the center of our lives.
