The Story of The Blind Beggar
In the scripture, Jesus meets a blind beggar, Bartimaeus, and heals him. Despite the people’s insistence that he be quiet, Bartimaeus cries out with greater boldness and faith, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” (Luke 18:38). Pastor Lowrimore stated that this story shows us the power of faith and teaches us the importance of perseverance.
The Value of Faith
Pastor Lowrimore reminded the congregation that faith is essential to living a life of purpose and fulfillment. He pointed out that Jesus said, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. Through this, Jesus was showing us that faith can move mountains and that we should always believe in the power of faith.
