Youth Service Opens with a Prayer

For their Wednesday evening youth service, Kolter Borden opened with a short lesson on 2 Corinthians 16-21. With the scripture lesson complete, the teens got to enjoy a fun, creative activity – painting pumpkins!

Kolter Borden opened the service with a brief sermon based on 2 Corinthians 16-21. The lesson focused on the importance of prayer and the power it gives us. It emphasized the need to communicate with God and to receive His comfort and strength.

Pumpkin Painting

After the lesson, it was time for the fun part – pumpkin painting. The children were provided with all the supplies they would need to create their own unique pumpkin designs. Each child was able to express themselves by designing their pumpkin in any way they wanted.

The pumpkin painting activity was a great way to end the youth service. It was a fun and creative way for the children to express themselves and to bond with each other. The children also took away the message from the lesson and the importance of prayer in their lives.

  • Prayer is an important part of our relationship with God.
  • Creative activities are a great way to express ourselves and bond with others.
