A Children’s Ministry to Grow in Faith

We are proud here at Panama First Baptist Church to offer our children in our community a Children’s ministry. Children Ministry is a process that connects children with Jesus and His Story. It’s more than parents reading the Bible or praying with their children, more than what happens at a mid-week or Sunday church service, more than Christian living, and more than spiritual formation.

The Goal of Children’s Ministry

The destination or goal of children’s ministry isn’t just teaching Bible stories, but equipping children to participate in a community of faith, moral instruction, or cultivating children’s spiritual health per se. It’s helping children know Jesus as their King and be citizens in His kingdom.

Creating an Environment to Grow in Faith

The Children’s Ministry helps children to grow in their faith through activities such as Bible stories, activities, and conversations that help them to apply Biblical truths. We strive to create an environment where children can encounter and grow in a relationship with Jesus.

• Bible stories – Helps children to understand the stories of the Bible and what they mean for their lives.
• Activities – Engaging activities that help children to interact with Christianity in a way that is relevant and meaningful.
• Conversations– Discussions that help children to apply Biblical truths to their lives.

We offer a safe and supportive environment where children can ask questions and grow in their faith while learning about Jesus and His kingdom.
